Yesterday I was complaining about having to do burpees, and I made the comment that I’d rather do all sit ups…..well, guess the CrossFit God heard me because we did lots of sit ups today!
I was the only girl in class today, but that’s alright with me….I’ll take 12 pack abs and a few other guys all by myself
We did the usual rowing, rolling, and mobility.
Strength today was floor presses. I’m not a big fan of the floor press—being a girl with hair and all, I do put my hair in a ponytail/twisted thing, and laying on the floor trying to do a floor press just doesn’t quite work. I have to pull my hair up on the top of my head like a Fraggle in order to lay flat—-oh, the drama that is my life!
Anyways, I did 95 pound floor presses today. My max is 100 pounds, but since I was the only girl and obviously none of the guys were going to be working in with me, I just did what I knew I could do without a spotter.

20 GHD Sit Ups (abmat sit ups)
Going from the row to the wall balls was a cardio killer. It was hard to get my breath during those wall balls. Since there is only 1 GHD machine at CrossFit, 12 pack abs and the blue-eyed firefighter alternated with that, and the rest of us just did abmat sit ups with legs straight to the wall.
After I got home and showered, I passed out on the couch AGAIN today—weird! I just started taking these new “supplements” from NutriShop and they are supposed to contain stimulants—–I hope they aren’t having the opposite effect on me! Just my luck—buy a stimulant and it puts me to sleep instead of giving me energy :) ……. or I could still be catching up on my sleep from all those late nights catching up on The Walking Dead….
